An eyelid lift (also called blepharoplasty) is a surgical procedure to correct sagging or drooping eyelids. It can be performed for both aesthetic and medical reasons—for example, when the upper eyelid droops so droopy that it impairs the field of vision.

Upper Eyelid Lift (Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty)

  • Removal of excess skin, fat, and possibly muscle tissue from the upper eyelid.
  • Goal: More alert, younger-looking eyes and, if necessary, improvement of the field of vision.

Lower Eyelid Lift (Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty)

    • Treatment of bags under the eyes or excess skin under the eyes.
